Accessibility: AMA's first floor is wheelchair accessible; please inform the guard at the front entrance to open the back doorway at the top of the ramp. There is a flight of winding stairs leading to the museum’s second floor. Restrooms are located on the second floor. Driving

from Virginia:
-take I-66 into Washington, staying in center lane to arrive at Constitution Ave.
-turn left onto 18th Street. The museum is a half block up on the right, at the corner of Virginia Ave.

from Maryland:
-take Georgia Ave into D.C.
-Georgia Ave becomes 7th Street, continue on 7th Street.
-turn right onto Constitution Ave.
-after passing 17th Street, turn right onto Virginia Ave
-after a half block, turn right immediately onto 18th Street. The museum is on your right.

By Metro
Take the 18th street exit on Farragut West Metro Station, walk towards Constitution Avenue for about 6 blocks. We are on the corner of 18th and Virginia Avenue, just past C Street.

By Bus
