What We Look Like

An exhibit at the Terrace Level Gallery of the OAS General Secretariat Building

An exhibit of the work of photographer Duncan McCosker

January 25, 2010 – February 26, 2011

ABOUT THE EXHIBIT
San Diego-based photographer Duncan McCosker has held one-person shows at venues such as the Galleria Lotti (Bologna), the Canon Photography Gallery (Amsterdam), and the Narodni Museum (Prague). He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, including at the National Museum of American Art (Washington, DC), the Brooklyn Museum (New York), and the Museum of Photographic Arts (San Diego).

Derrick Cartwright, Director of the Seattle Museum of Art writes of McCosker’s work : “whether set on a sun-bleached seaside resort, amidst a bustling county fair, or along the margins of a contemporary religious festival, each photographic “drama” explores the common stage upon which expressions of community and alienation are routinely enacted.”
